Announcements, week of April 3 - 7

A couple of announcements, listed by the class to which they pertain:

Intermediate and Advanced Digital Imaging:
I promised a Flash demo and will try to get it ready by Tuesday. Probably spill over into Thursday’s class too, which will include an introduction to video editing concepts. I will also want to discuss Benjamin’s essay and will devote one hour to that discussion on Tuesday. Please come prepared to participate.

Color and Advanced Photo:
I have to judge a competition at Hudson Valley this Wednesday morning and will try to get back in time for our class. In the event I am late, please work in the lab until I arrive. I very much want to see new work from several of you who have skipped out on me the last few classes. I would also like to touch base on the Benjamin essay and will devote about 45 minutes to a discussion.

All classes:
Our exhibition in the 2nd floor gallery is scheduled for April 20th through 27th. Deadline for work to be included is April 18. Submit your work directly to me in class on the 18th (350/450) or the 19th (348/444). Work must be ready-to-hang and properly labeled on the back. I’ll have forms for your submissions in class this Tuesday. 350/450 class will help me hang the show on Thursday the 20th.

Also, please remember that our last sculpture position candidate will be on campus tomorrow and is lecturing in the Boor at 4:30. Come if you can.
