Society for Photographic Education regional conference

I was recently reminded by Ariel Shanberg, the Director of the Center for Photography at Woodstock, that he still needs student volunteers for the SPE Regional Conference this November.
The conference is an amazing opportunity to tap into what photographers are doing and thinking about and writing right now. And if you volunteer to help out, you’ll be given carte blanche access to the entire thing, which can get kind of expensive (especially if you are not an SPE member already). The topic this year is “Homeland”, and the speakers include David Levi Strauss, Wendy Ewald, Trevor Paglen, Laura Blacklow, Jason Fancisco, and the incredibly gifted and impossibly prolific artist Daniel Goodwin.
